12 food tips to beat tiredness

 Fatigue ,  anxiety  and  stress  seem to be the evils of modern life and people often wake up already tired, as if they hadn’t slept The wear interferes with school performance and performance at work, in addition to impairing concentration and causing discomfort. It is well known that these symptoms often come from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. What few people know is that a proper diet can reverse the situation. See our food tips that will give you that boost for your day-to-day.

1.  Banana.  This fruit is well known for being a source of potassium and protein and is usually consumed before physical activities. But in addition to these nutrients, bananas contain the amino acid tryptophan that produces serotonin, the neurotransmitter responsible for the feeling of well-being.

2.  Chocolate.  In addition to being tasty, chocolate has appreciable amounts of antioxidants and central nervous system stimulants, such as caffeine, theobromine and phenylethylamine. These substances help with concentration and alertness, as well as giving energy and disposition. ATTENTION : preferably consume chocolate with a large amount of cocoa (above 80%).

3.  Ginger .  This root has been used for millennia by different peoples due to its properties. One is that it is a central nervous system stimulant. In the form of teas or juices, gingerols (active principles of ginger) give mood and cheer, in addition to fighting free radicals.

4.  Apple.  Many people don’t know, but the apple is a powerful ally in the fight against fatigue. In addition to having fructose (natural fruit sugar), the apple has malic acid, one of the energy components of the human body.

5.  Coffee .  This grain is an old known as stimulating and energetic. The considerable amounts of caffeine (a central nervous system stimulant) help ward off sleepiness and tiredness. Coffee taken in the morning or afternoon reduces physical and mental exhaustion and increases the brain’s ability to act quickly and concentrate. Another product with similar properties is  green tea .

6.  Red meat.  Meat, especially red meat (beef, beef, etc.), has large amounts of  B vitamins  that regulate the proper functioning of the brain and prevent diseases such as depression. In addition, meats are rich in minerals such as  zinc , iron  and  copper , which are antioxidants and help maintain the immune system.

7.  Fish and seafood.  In addition to having large amounts of zinc and  selenium  (important to reduce fatigue and anxiety), these white meats have omega-3, an essential oil for the proper functioning of the brain and heart.

8.  Grains.  Grains are excellent sources of protein and various minerals. Oats, for example, stimulate the release of serotonin. Flaxseed  is rich  in omega-3 and helps to oxygenate the brain and muscles. Whole grains are rich in  magnesium , an important mineral for the brain.

9.  Orange. The high amount of  vitamin C  helps fight free radicals that wear down muscle and brain cells. The  calcium  present also fights muscle fatigue.

10.  Lettuce.  Rich in lectucine, this green leaf acts as a calming agent and fights stress and irritation. The phosphate present in lettuce is excellent for brain functions, helping with memory, reasoning and concentration.

11.  Honey.  Rich in glucose, honey is a quick source of energy for cells, as it is quickly absorbed. Try sweetening juices and teas with honey.

12.  Acai. Food that is high in calories and provides a lot of energy. In addition, it is rich in B vitamins, vitamin C, iron, calcium, phosphorus and protein. Acai is normally combined with honey and granola. ATTENTION : açaí is extremely energetic and can make you fat.

The food list doesn’t stop there. There are several grains, fruits, vegetables and seeds that help in the fight against fatigue, tiredness, stress and anxiety. Try to diversify your diet and eat these foods when you feel the most tired.
