12 foods that help you lose weight

1.   Salmon  and fish rich in omega 3. Omega 3  is an essential fatty acid that has several functions, such as preventing chronic diseases, improving the immune system and helping to combat  depression . Recent studies indicate that there is a link between omega 3 intake and weight loss.

2.  Ginger.  Ginger  can be used as a spice  in both sweet and savory dishes and is known to speed up metabolism, aiding in fat burning. Other spices with the same function include red pepper, black pepper and  cinnamon .

3.  Green leaves.  Former allies of diets, leafy greens are rich in fiber and vitamins. Fibers in turn help to clean the body and maintain satiety. Abuse of green leaves such as lettuce, chicory, chard, cress, among others.

4.  Carrot.  This legume is rich in  silicon  and  potassium  that work together to eliminate excess fluid from the body. In addition, carrots are rich in  vitamin A , a powerful antioxidant.

5.  Honey.  One of the hardest things to do while dieting is controlling the sweet tooth. Honey is a natural product rich in vitamins and proteins and low in calories when compared to industrialized sweets. Did you feel like eating candy? Invest in honey.
