9 refreshing summer drinks

Summer has arrived. Lack of care with food can lead to serious complications such as dehydration, diarrhea and malnutrition. Food in the summer must be constantly monitored in order to stay healthy, hydrate the body and enjoy the best of the season. Discover our ideal refreshing drinks for the hottest season of the year and stay healthy.

1. Coconut water.  Coconut water is rich in vitamins and minerals that regulate the body’s electrolyte balance, making it the ideal drink for that hot day at the beach. In addition, coconut water contains carbohydrates, antioxidants, amino acids and enzymes that help the body to function efficiently. 2. Orange juice .  This juice is rich in  vitamin C  and betacarotene, helping with skin health and regulating immunity. Orange is extremely refreshing and you can serve this juice with lemon. Serve chilled or with ice cubes. 3. Carrot Juice .  Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, a precursor to  vitamin A. 
 which is essential for skin health. In addition, this juice helps to maintain a beautiful and long-lasting tan during the summer, helping to have that long-awaited golden color. One tip is to add oranges and beets to carrot juice, creating a  tanning juice .

4. Lemon juice.  This juice is rich in vitamin C, being an excellent ally of immunity, helping to prevent various diseases. Also,  lemon juice , or lemonade, is extremely refreshing. Serve it chilled or with ice cubes. 5. Fennel tea.  Also called  melissa infusion 
 , this tea is refreshing, light and helps with digestion, being ideal for those days when you think you overdid it on food. A good tip is to serve this iced tea with  lemon  and  mint .
6. Acai Juice .  Açaí is an ally of athletes because it is rich in energy, being ideal to take before playing sports. In addition to vitamins and minerals, açaí is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory substances. Drink this iced juice. 7. Ginger watermelon juice .  This is an excellent energetic and refreshing combination. Watermelon is a hydrant, helping to replace the water lost by the body. the  ginger 
  It has energetic properties that help fight tiredness and fatigue. Drink this juice chilled or with ice cubes.
8.  Green tea .  Rich in antioxidants, this tea is an ally in the prevention of various diseases, such as  hypertension ,  cancer  and even diabetes . Get creative and make refreshing combinations with lemon, mint, ginger or even orange peel. Drink that iced tea.
9. Pineapple Juice .  Pineapple is high in fiber, excellent for constipation, and high in vitamin C and other minerals and low in calories. An excellent tip is to add mint leaves to make this juice more refreshing. 

Prioritize the consumption of juices made with the fruit itself, rather than the pulp. Also avoid the consumption of sugar, salt and fats. Prioritize fresh vegetables, grains and don’t forget to drink lots of water, at least 2 liters a day.
