Anti-cold Juice (Ginger based)

Juice used in cases of cold or other winter ailments such as sore throat or flu . Used as a supplement to supplement the body with vitamin C.

For 200 mL of juice:

– 100 mL of water.

– The equivalent of 2 tablespoons of ginger .

– 1 lemon .

– 1 orange.

– A few fresh mint leaves, if needed.

– 1 tablespoon of honey

– 1 teaspoon of sugar, if necessary.

Directly into the blender, add the water, press the lemon and orange, and possibly add some mint leaves and honey.

– Remove the skin from the ginger, finely chop or grate (preferably).

– Place the finely chopped ginger in the blender with the other ingredients.

– Mix well for a few minutes.

– Filter possibly.

– If the ginger flavor is too strong, you can add a teaspoon of sugar.

– Drink immediately or leave a few hours in the fridge (possibly add ice).

– Consume the juice 1-2 times a day.

Expiration date

One day, about 12 hours (if kept refrigerated).

Ginger can stand out and have a strong flavor. If you find this to be too much, you can reduce the amount of ginger (only use one tablespoon), or not add this plant at all. In the latter case, this juice loses most of its properties. Read more about ginger .

Lemon and orange bring a significant amount of vitamin C. To maintain a high concentration of this vitamin, drink the juice immediately, because vitamin C transforms and disappears in contact with air, and also light and heat. However, if you would like to store the juice, keep it in a tightly closed place in a cool place away from light.
