artichoke infusion

Use

In liver problems, liver disease (gallstones), dyspepsia (digestive problem), bloating , nausea , jaundice (yellow skin), cirrhosis, stomach ache , cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) .

Ingredients

For a cup of artichoke tea , use:
– 2g (about 2 coffee spoons) of artichoke leaves

– About 200 ml of water

– Acacia honey (if needed)

Preparation

– Heat the water until it boils and then add this boiling water to the artichoke leaves (preferably dry leaves)

– Let it infuse for ten minutes (in order to obtain an effective dose of active ingredients)

– Filter

– Sweeten, eventually, with acacia honey, especially if you find the tea too bitter

Posology

– Drink a glass 2 to 3 times a day, preferably before meals (in any case, between meals). Consume for 1 month.

Comments

– Artichoke tea can act as an effective “detox” cure.

Another possible recipe

– To combat bitterness in particular and increase effectiveness, use 30g of artichoke leaves, 15g of chicory root , 1 piece of licorice root and some mint and lemon balm leaves (with effect to combat bitterness), also infuse for 10 minutes and filter.
