basil decoction

Use

Internal use: for gastrointestinal diseases such as dyspepsia, spasms, flatulence (bloating).

External use (as a gargle): used against canker sores and bad breath .

Ingredients

For a cup of basil decoction tea, use:

For internal use:

– 10 to 20 grams of basil leaves .

For external use (gargle)

– 50 to 100 grams of basil leaves.

– About 1 liter of water.

Preparation

– Bring the water and basil to a boil in a pan.

– Once the mixture reaches boiling temperature, let it boil for 5 minutes.

– Remove the pan from the heat and let it rest with the lid on for 10 minutes.

– Filter if necessary.

Posology

Internal use

Drink 1 cup (200 to 250 ml) of this decoction three times a day for digestive disorders.

External use

Use as a gargle for canker sores and bad breath.
