blueberry decoction

Use

– Against diarrhea , gastroenteritis or hemorrhoids . Against vision disorders (complementary measure), for example, in case of difficulties to see at night or when there is little light. It is also used for its antioxidant power.
– Against canker sores or thrush (mouthwash).

Ingredients

– 25 g of dried blueberry berries  (for a 200mL glass, count 1 to 2 tablespoons of dried blueberry berries)

– about 1 liter of water

Preparation

– Heat the water to a boil, pour in the blueberries and let it boil for about 30 minutes (another recipe suggests placing the blueberries in boiling water, then cooking for 2 minutes at boiling temperature, then removing from the heat and leaving to infusion covered for 10 minutes)

– Filter

– Let cool

Posology

– To be used as a mouthwash during canker sores or thrush.

It is advisable to drink one liter of this preparation during one day or as soon as possible.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for a more personalized dose.

Observation

It is recommended that you keep the dried blueberry fruits in the fridge, as some insects such as moths are very fond of these fruits and can then render them unusable.
