Other recipes
– In place of oil, you can also use lard, count twice the weight of garlic to prepare a small garlic ointment.
– Another recipe against mycosis on the feet is to use a clove of pressed garlic and a teaspoon of honey. Just mix the garlic and honey in a small bowl without cooking and then apply with a cotton swab on the areas affected by the fungal infection. Leave this small poultice for 15 minutes to 1 hour. Then wash it well. Repeat 1 to 2 times a day (total of 2 to 3 poultices a day) and up to 3 days after the disappearance of symptoms. This garlic and honey remedy can be kept for up to 3 days, but it is better to prepare a new mixture every day.
Use
– It is estimated that ajoene, a component of garlic with antifungal action, would be responsible for the antifungal effect of this preparation.
