Green Juice with Ginger


Homemade juice used to maintain or lose weight. Solution that also promotes the “detoxification” of the body, in case of diet after excessive alcohol consumption.

A juice of 200 to 300 mL (for one person):

– 1 to two kale leaves .

– A lemon .

– 1 piece of ginger , the equivalent of two tablespoons, finely chopped or grated.

– Some spinach leaves (5-10 leaves).

– A few mint or mint leaves .

– 100 mL of water or coconut water. You can also use 200 mL of water for a smoother juice (for 2 people).


– Wash all vegetables and leaves.

– Prepare the juice with 1 lemon.

– Chop the kale and spinach into several parts.

– Scrape or finely chop the piece of ginger. You can cut it into 3 or 4 small slices (remove the skin).

– Place 100 mL of water or coconut water and all the ingredients in a blender, adding the kale little by little to avoid clogging the blender.

– Stir well for a few minutes, which can take up to 5 minutes depending on the amount of kale.

– Filter if necessary, but usually not.

– Possibly add a little salt or pepper or a little sugar if you want a sweeter taste, and top up with a little water if necessary, especially if the juice is not very runny (or the consistency of a puree ).


– Consume preferably once a day in the morning or at lunch.

Expiration date

About 12 hours (if kept refrigerated). Otherwise, use should be immediate.

– Like all juice, it is important not to abuse it, otherwise there is a risk of diarrhea and other gastrointestinal diseases. It is recommended to drink 1-2 glasses of green juice a day, one in the morning and one possibly during lunch.
