Lemon Syrup

Use

Home remedy used in sleep disorders , stress , gastrointestinal diseases linked to nervousness and flatulence .

Ingredients

– 10 grams of dried lime leaves (or 15 to 20 grams of fresh leaves).

– 500 ml of water.

– 500 grams of sugar.

Preparation

– Heat the water to boiling and then add the sugar.

– Continue to heat the mixture until the sugar dissolves and until it becomes syrupy (you will see the “big pearly bubbles”). Cook for about 10 minutes to reach this point.

– Add the lime leaves, then turn off the heat.

– Let it cool and rest for 15 minutes.

– Filter.

– Place in sealed bottles, colored (to protect from light), and, if possible, sterilized in a hot water bath.

– Make a label. You can easily make a label for your medicine, for example with the name of the preparation, dosage, date, etc. simply by printing the data on a sheet and wetting the back in milk to stick it on the bottle.

Posology

Drink 1-2 tablespoons of syrup 2-3 times a day in case of stress or digestive disorders.

Several months (with hot water sterilized bottles, read in preparation).
