Comments

– This medicinal plant is very useful in case of cough. You can make your medicine based on plantain, like a syrup , at home, or you can buy it ready-made at a pharmacy. Its beneficial effect (which cures cough) is already more than proven. The compounds of this plant (iridoids) are effective in case of productive cough.

– It is also possible to use plantain externally to treat wounds and wasp stings (just apply a plantain leaf to the affected part).

– In cases of hives due to contact with nettles, the application of plantain leaves relieves pain very effectively.
