Strawberry juice

In addition to a pleasant and refreshing taste, strawberries are rich in dietary fiber, which helps with digestion. The high concentration of vitamin C has a positive effect on the immune system. Strawberries also contain polyphenols, which have an effect on skin health. Also used against gout (effect on uric acid). Discover more information about the nutritional properties of strawberry .

For 200 mL of juice, use:
– 15-20 strawberries (if they are large, 10 should be enough).
– 100 mL of water or less if you want a homogeneous juice. In the summer you can put cold water or ice.
– Sugar (optional: 1 to 2 teaspoons).

– Prepare the strawberries (remove the leaves), and cut them into pieces.
– Place the strawberries and 100 mL of water in a blender.
– Possibly add other fruits (see comments below).
– Shake well for a few minutes.

Consume the juice 1-2 times a day.
Conservation: about 12 hours (if kept refrigerated). It is best to consume immediately.
– You can optionally add grapefruit juice for a more refreshing effect. In this case, also add ice (you can even replace water with ice cubes, and then blend in a blender).
– You can also add other fruits such as banana or kiwi (for a high concentration of vitamin C). Be creative!
– This juice is naturally contraindicated for anyone who suffers from an allergy to strawberries.
